WALKER, Ian David

October 6, 1946 – July 28, 2021

The family sadly announces the passing of David at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Austin) for 47 years. Proud and Loving Father of Scott (Miranda) of Brossard, Ryan (Sandra) of Waterloo, and Elizabeth (Alex) Zelenyj of Windsor. Cherished Grandad of James and Lillian. Brother to Elaine (David) Robertshaw of England and Brother-in-law to Gary Austin of Leamington. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Elsie Walker of England and inlaws Robert and Frances Austin of Windsor. David will be missed by family and friends in Canada, England, and the U.S. David was an avid runner and cyclist and also loved to travel. Special thanks to Karen, Lisa, and Mitzell from St. Elizabeth for all their care and compassion during the past year. Goodbye “Luv”.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy of Canada would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place according to David’s wishes.
