LAFOREST, Monique Simone

Passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at the age of 64 years. Born in Sudbury, Ontario on August 29, 1962, to her parents John Laforest and the late Francoise. Monique was the loving mother to Kayla and Bianca Laforest. Cherished grandma to Kyrin and Kyra. Dear sister to the late Gisele Pinard (late Jean-Marc) and Marc Laforest (Barb). Special aunt to Patrick Pinard, Nicole Darden (Michael), Carissa De Rubeis (Edward), Mac Laforest (Melissa) and many great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Franco Gagliardi (2020). Monique worked for Canteen of Canada and various restaurants for many years. The Celebration of Life will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 12:30-2:00 p.m. In honour of Moniques wishes, cremation will take place. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
