Obituary of James "Jim" "Pop" Jubinville
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of 62 years to Greta (nee MacDonald). Cherished Dad of James “Jay” (Lisa) and John (Tracey). Beloved Pop of Kaitie, Adam (Alyssa), Jacob, Lacee (Stevie), Jessica (Daniel), Jenna (Marc), Eric (Jessica), and great-Pop of Cooper, Lily, Bentley, Kingston, Lincoln, Nova, Charlie and Blake. Dear brother of Nancy, Sue Hudson (Kevin), and brother-in-law of Teresa Fuerth (Mac). Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Emmabelle Jubinville and by brothers Ron, Gary and Dennis. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim retired from Chrysler after 37 years of dedicated service and was a proud member of Local 444. He enjoyed spending time on the water fishing, loved baseball, and was an avid supporter of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. Above all else, Jim cherished his family. Whatever activity his grandchildren were involved in, Pop could always be found in the stands, proudly and enthusiastically cheering them on.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Hospice of Windsor for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Jim.
