Obituary of Roland Demers

Passed peacefully with family by his side on August 30, 2026 at the age 103. 41 days shy of his 104th birthday. Reunited with wife Annie of 72 years (2017). Devoted father to late Carole (Jim) Anger, late Randy (Karen), Bob (Bonnie), Rick (Michelle), Linda (Tom) Hoy and Elizabeth Demers. Grandpa to 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Roland was born to Ludger and Laurentia Demers (nee Gagne) on October 10, 1922.

Roland was a life member of Tecumseh Knights of Columbus #4375. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #255. He was known for his honourable time in WW2.

In Roland's honour, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.

In the families wishes, cremation has taken place and private service will be held. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
