QUAGLIOTTO, Federico "Bruno"

With saddness we announce the passing of Federico Bruno Quagliotto on July 9, 2026, at the age of 90.

He was born on January 8, 1936 in Barcon, Italy and immigrated to Canada at the age of 18.

Predeceased by his parents Leone and Antonia (Cavallin), and his siblings Angela (Walter), Silvio (Catherine), Giuseppe (survived by sister-in-law Augusta), Maria (Giuseppe), Lorenzo (survived by sister-in-law Donatella). He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, and Italy, as well as his many friends.

Bruno was a hard working Machine Repair Technician at Ford Motor Company for over 30 years.

Bruno was devoted to his faith. He was an active parishioner and usher of his church, and attended Mass regularly. He was also a dedicated and proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club where he volunteered, was a committee member and enjoyed many years of fellowship and bocce ball at the club. He proudly celebrated his Italian Heritage. Bruno enjoyed gardening, playing cards, watching hockey and soccer games.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the compassionate staff of Windsor Regional Hospital and Extendicare Tecumseh.

He will be remembered with love and fond memories by his family and friends.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Windsor Cancer Center Foundation and Windsor Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 10am at St. Angela Merici Church until the time of Funeral Mass at 11am.
