Obituary of Sharon Lea Quick
Sharon Lea Gill, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Windsor, Ontario, on July 6, 2026.
Born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Sharon was raised on the family farm. Over the years, Sharon balanced a career in the banking industry with a profound dedication to her faith and community. She spent many years providing vital administrative support to the Church of God alongside her beloved husband, Randall. Together, they shared a beautiful passion for youth ministry, guiding and inspiring countless young lives through their leadership in youth programs, young adult ministry, summer camps, teaching music at International Bible College, and working at Sonshine women's shelter.
Beyond her service to others, Sharon was a woman of many creative talents. She was a fantastic baker whose treats brought people together, a skilled painter, and an avid gardener with an incredible green thumb for both flowers and vegetables. Sharon will be remembered most for her huge heart, her boundless kindness, and ability to draw you into a conversation like you have known her for years.
Daughter of Olga Holeska (d. 1982) and Irvine Gill (d. 2003), sister of David (d. 1987) and surviving sister Sandra (Lyndon). She is survived and deeply missed by her devoted husband, Randall, and her two beloved sons and their families, Brian and wife Julieta with children Marcus and Naomi, and Braden and his wife Claire with children Henry and James. She was an amazing, selfless wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Sharon’s legacy of love, faith, and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
