I was saddened to learn of the recent passing of Dave. We went to grade school together at St. Rose and then St.Louis. A year or two before he went from Brennan to Riverside. I have a couple good memories of Dave back in grade school. Sometimes we would razz him about saying “Do you know Bernie Allen”, he would ask various teachers or supply teachers if they knew his dad at the Board Office. Another memory was in Grade 3 silent reading where I would be reading hockey magazines and I would see Dave reading a 1000 page novel of The Island. I’m still amazed at that to this day. I always knew that Dave was a smart kid. I saw him probably almost 27 years ago when I had a delivery for his business, CyberTech while I was working at UPS. We shared some memories of back in the day when we were kids and shared some laughs. My condolences to the entire Allen family during this difficult time. I’ll keep all of you in my prayers.

Gosh where do I begin? I’ve known Dave since I was 10 yrs old. We grew up together share in many fun adventures together. Dave, Ray and I went through the young and teenage years together. Lots of great memories of those days. The three of us ended up getting a house together and geez did we have a great time living together and sharing those days. My heart hurts knowing Dave is gone but never forgotten!! Love you brother!!

Words can’t describe how sad I am that we have lost David. He was a great man and an extremely talented hard worker in his craft. I will remember his strong family values, generosity, and sense of humor that lit up a room.
David has been a strong mentor and role model in my life for close to 20 years and it’s hard to believe he is no longer with us physically. I can clearly recall all of his great stories about football, hunting, and life lessons. He will continue to live on through his family, and each of us who he impacted so greatly.
My prayers go out to the entire Allen family and for the soul of Dave. I’m grateful to have had so many joyful memories with David and his family. I’ll never forget him, rest easy David.

It’s so hard to put into words what losing you means to our family, Uncle Dave.
You were the kind of person everyone loved to be around. Your sense of humor, your love of sports, and the joy you brought into every room made every holiday and family celebration a little brighter. It’s hard to imagine those moments without you there.
I’m going to miss you more than I can say, and I know our holidays and celebrations will never feel quite the same. Thank you for all the laughs, the memories, and simply for being the wonderful person you were.
Rest peacefully, Uncle Dave. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be missed. ❤️

Mary and I want to extend our deepest condolences to Daves family and the crew at Cybertech. We are so sorry to hear and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always be grateful to Dave and Joe for giving me a shot to work for them right out of high school and start my apprenticeship. Was fortunate to work on lots of jobs with Dave retrofitting machines and learned so much from him. Thanks for so many things Dave and hope your resting peacefully.
