MEILLEUR, Ronald Keith

December 3, 1939 - June 20, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra (née Downie). Predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Marie-Ange. Loving father of Brenda; the late Chris (Trudy); Renee Pare (Darryl); and Pamela Arundine (Claudio). Cherished Grampa of Colin, Jordan, the late Trevor and Megan, Jessie, Jordan, Jaiden, Jacob, Taylor, Darien, Ashton, Cruz, Nico, and Noah. Adored brother of Darlene and Mickey (Ann), and the late Jimmy and Pete. Keith will also be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends.

Keith retired from Chrysler after 35 years of service and was affectionately known as “The Candy Man” by his co-workers. In retirement, he discovered a love of camping and excelled in his favourite role as Grampa.

The Montreal Canadiens and music were lifelong passions. In addition to singing professionally in his family band, Keith shared his love of music by singing on Saturday mornings at the McDonald's at Wyandotte St. E. and Pillette Rd for a group of seniors.

Always smiling and ready to help anyone in need, Keith was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will remain, forever in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday, June 25, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with prayers at 7:30pm. As per Keith's wishes, cremation will take place at a later date.
