Sending our sweet thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. Helen and Mike were our neighbous for many years. We had many good times with them while they lived on Gauthier. Enjoyed many of Helen's treats, especially the walnut squares. Asked her to share the recipe but she didn't have it written down. So I sat with her as she made them. She patiently measured every ingredient so I could write it down. She will be missed and I'm sorry we were unable to pay our respects. Kathy and Bob Thomas

Bill, George and Theresa and entire family I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing.
I have found memories of Helen's confectionary in my youth and early teens, my fondest memory of Helen is every Christmas she would decorate her display window. Even though it's been over 60 years I remember it well.
She was so kind and patient to let kids hang out in the store.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. I know she will be missed

With sincere condolences on the passing of your Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Auntie and Friend.
Her life was long and eventful. Lasting memories to be cherished from generation to generation. I do remember
the times on Seminole. There were a lot of moments with smiles and laughter.

We are sending our deepest sympathies to your whole family. Aunt Helen was the thread that kept our family connected to all of you. Her faith and family were her cornerstones . It was evident that she was kind and sweet but she wasn’t a pushover. She had a quiet strength. My dad was the oldest grandchild in the Zarnay family and Aunt Helen being the youngest child with only 3 years difference he always felt a deep closeness to her. We all have very fond memories of being at the farm, at your parents’s restaurant, family reunions, weddings, all sharing the love of our families and extended families. She was a force that will leave a big hole in our lives but she has left a wonderful legacy filled with faith, recipes and love. Thinking of you all and hope that your memories will bring you comfort. Sue (Namespetra) and Gary Pullam and family

To the entire Petro family my deepest sincerest condolences.
Your mom had such a calm and graceful presence accompanied
by a warm smile. My fondest memories would definitely be that of her home cooking,
and the endless milkshakes enjoyed at the grill they owned and operated ( thanks to
my bestie, Terri )
I’m glad I was able to enjoy a visit with her last summer and hug her one last time.
Keeping you all in thought and prayers at this time
