Obituary of Vera Thaqi

Vera Thaqi (nee Rrapi) peacefully passed away at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus on Saturday June 6, 2026 at the age of 74.

Born in Kosovo to the late Kol and Darinka Rrapi.

Beloved wife of Pashk Thaqi.

Loving mother of Leonina. Proud grandma of Elena.

Sister of Ton Rrapi, Elizabeta Daka, and Marije Daka.

Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Banwell Funeral Home, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Saturday June 13 from 9:00am until 1:00pm. Interment to follow with a graveside service at Windsor Memorial Gardens, 1100 Division Rd in Windsor.
