Obituary of Diane Marie Leonard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Marie Leonard, who passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026 at Hospice of Windsor at the age of 71.

Loving mother of Dave Belanger (predeceased by Tammy), Janet Belanger (Jason Voakes), and Chantelle Rogers (Dustin). Cherished grandmother of Braylon, Kiara, Madison, and Lexi.

Diane is survived by her four siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Theresa Leonard.

Diane will be fondly remembered for her deep love of family-especially at Christmas-her devotion to her Catholic faith, a passionate fan of her favourite Buckeyes, camping at the trailer, shopping, and the companionship of her beloved Yorkie dogs.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor) on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Simon & St. Jude Catholic Church in Belle River on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.and will be livestreamed by clicking the following link:  https://my.forever.link/diane-leonard:, with interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
