Cherished father of Phillip (Terry, 2023), Leslie Caza (Daniel), Carrie Gouin, Chad Gouin, and Chris Gouin (Lorie). Proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Survived by his dear sister Laurentian Caza (Norman, 2009). Louis will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Louis worked as a pipefitter with Chrysler for nearly 30 years, a career he took great pride in. In his retirement, he enjoyed the freedom to travel, spending winters in Florida as a snowbird.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Every October, he looked forward to hunting season, often spending weeks hunting moose and bear. He also enjoyed fishing, always happiest when he was out in nature.
Family was at the centre of his life. He loved hosting big BBQs each year, bringing everyone together for good food, laughter, and time well spent. Christmas was especially meaningful, a time to celebrate and be surrounded by those he loved most.
He was known for his positive outlook on life. He was never one to complain, always steady and easygoing, and someone who brought warmth and comfort to the people around him.
At Louis's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation and interment will be announced within the coming weeks.
