Obituary of Mary Catherine Lalonde

LALONDE, Mary Catherine (nee. Peltier)

May 15, 1958 - May 19, 2026

Peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones. Beloved Wife of 40 Years to the late Kyle Lalonde. Loving Mother to Ryan (Simran) and Connor (Cassie). Proud Grandma to Gabby and Kylan, and Grandma Mary to Taylor. She will be lovingly remembered by Melissa and Kevin Bridgen. Predeceased by her Parents William and Patricia Peltier (nee. Parkyn). She will be deeply missed by her Brothers; Paul (Sheila), William (Claire), and John (Karen). Loving Sister-in-law to Sean and Beth Lalonde and Stephen Lalonde. Loving Aunt to Stephanie, Rachelle, Matthew, Korey, Dylan, Alexis, Logan, Keegan, and Chase. She will also be missed by her extended family and dear friends especially Lori Smith; her best friend of over 60 years.

Mary took pride in her work as a dedicated dispatcher and logistics professional for over 40 years. She is known for being a wonderful Mother, a doting Grandma, and a kind and loving person. She was also a devoted catholic and relied heavily on her faith.

The family would like to extend a sincere heartfelt thank you to the staff at the T2B Palliative Care Unit at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.

Visitation will take place Friday, May 22, 2026 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm, and 7:00pm - 9:00pm, with parish prayers at 4:30pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. A second visitation will take place Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Church 1947 Meldrum Rd. with funeral to follow at 10:00am. Cremation to follow with internment at a later date.
