Obituary of Antonio Spagnoli
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonio Spagnoli, who passed away at home surrounded by family, at the age of 96.
Born in Albareto Parma Italy to the late Giovanni (Rosa Sozzi) Spagnoli.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Luigia “Luisa” Spagnoli.
Loving father of Sandra Spagnoli (Rob Iseppi), the late Ivana Spagnoli (Kevin McVetty), Lisa Breault (Stephen), Walter Franzoi (Chris), and Michael Franzoi.
Cherished Nonno to Isabella Iseppi, Nicholas Iseppi, Sofia McVetty, Christine Breault‑Fraser (Zach), Joshua Breault, Alexander Franzoi, and Lukas Franzoi.
Dear brother to Olga Mezzetta (late Pio) and predeceased by his brother Ernesto Spagnoli (Rosa).
Antonio was also the husband of his first wife, the late Adele Spagnoli, and will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Antonio will be fondly remembered for his deep love of family, his years of service working as a lumberjack up north, and his retirement from Chrysler Canada. He enjoyed many vacations and traveling with Luigia, singing in the choir, being an avid Montreal Canadiens and Formula One fan, and being a proud member of the Alpini.
A special thank you to Dr. Cervi and her team of healthcare professsionals at the cancer clinic for their compassion and care.
A private family service will be held, with interment at Country Meadows Cemetery.
Donations made in memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
