Obituary of Anita Anne Caron

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passong of Anita Anne Caron (née Pickering), who passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, in her 58th year, with her loving husband by her side. Beloved and devoted wife of Richard for 36 years. Loving mother of Nicole (Mark), Joshua (Rachelle), and Brittany (Caullin). Anita was a proud and adoring first-time grandmother to Larkyn and Rorison, and she held a special place in her heart for her grand-puppies. She was also dearly loved by her faithful companion, her dog Nugget.

Cherished daughter of Ingrid and the late Garnet Pickering, and dear daughter-in-law of Mary and the late Robert Caron. Loving sister of Jay (Kathy Jo), Robert (Robbie), and sister-in-law of Linda (Norman).

Anita will be fondly remembered as a proud aunt to Jordan (Holly), Nathan, Liam, and Noah. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and extended family.

Anita found great joy in scrapbooking, spending time with her family, and participating in bible study. She was a strong and courageous woman who faced life's challenges with grace, including her battles as a survivor of breast cancer and Huntington's disease.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus and Windsor-Essex Hospice for their exceptional care and support. 

In keeping with Anita's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windsor-Essex Hospice or to the Huntington Society of Canada.
