Obituary of Aileen McLoughlin

MCLOUGHLIN, Aileen (nee. East)

October 3, 1942 - April 23, 2026

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Aileen McLoughlin (nee. East), on April 23, 2026 at the age of 83. Born in Walthamstow England, she married David in 1965 and had 60 wonderful years of Marriage. They moved to Canada in 1974 where she worked as a nurse for Dr. Kalman and Dr. Wonham, and then for Dr. Parashar and Dr. Gyetvai. Daughter of predeceased parents William and Hilda East. She adored her grandchildren and loved to look after them in Toronto. She loved all British History, Shakespeare and of course her Cats. Beloved mother to Catherine Walker (Ryan), and cherished grandmother to Lily and Nigel. She loved to knit and made beautiful blankets for many friends and family as well as for kittens at the Humane Society. She will be deeply missed. Special thanks to Dr. Cassidy and the staff and the nurses on 8North at Windsor Regional Hospital - Met Campus.

A Chapel Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 11:00am at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 519-253-7234. At Aileen's request, cremation will follow the service.
