Obituary of Maria Spadotto

With heavy hearts the family of Maria Emily Spadotto announce her passing on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Danilo Spadotto. Loving mother of the late Debra Spadotto. Dear sister of Lino Pegoraro (Cathy), the late Romeo Pegoraro, and the late Erma Spadotto. Cherished aunt of Mara Dickens (Michael), Debra Mulligan (Brock), and Spencer Dickens. She will be deeply missed by her many cousins on the Spadotto side, both in Windsor and Montreal, and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy. Maria was a dedicated seamstress for many years, creating beautiful gowns for many brides. Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations in Maria’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or Diabetes Canada.
