Obituary of Evelyn Flynn

Evelyn Flynn passed away peacefully at the age of 99 surrounded by her loving family. She now joins her beloved husband James Clifford Flynn, who predeceased her on April 12, 1963 and her son, Patrick (1947). She leaves behind a large and loving family including her children Dan Flynn (Donna), Bonnie White (Vic), Colleen Pitre (Tim), Kathleen Langley (late Gary), and Jamie Flynn (Eileen). Evelyn was a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Evelyn will be remembered for warmth, resilience, and unwavering love of her family. She was a wonderful mother whose care and guidance will never be forgotten. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Village of St. Clair Long Term Care Facility, Amherstburg neighbourhood, for their compassion, dedication, and exceptional care which brought comfort and happiness to Evelyn. Evelyn’s memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew her. A memorial visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:30am. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus cemetery. In memory of Evelyn, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or United Way Windsor/Essex.
