My heartfelt condolences go out to Kathy, Jesse, Chris, Rayne, and all of Brenda’s immediate and extended family.
I am truly sorry to hear about the passing of such a wonderful and unique woman. There was no one quite like Brenda. She wasn’t a follower—she was a leader. She spoke her truth, always honest and real, and I experienced that many times myself. It came from a place of care, because Brenda had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I’ve ever known.
She passed that strength and love on to her children, especially Kathy. Her presence, her laughter, and her spirit were contagious. I will always cherish the memories of the many evenings I spent at her home with Kathy—those were special times that meant more than I probably realized back then.
As we grow older, we come to understand just how important those connections are—friends who become family, and people who help carry us through life’s difficult moments. Brenda was one of those people.
Rest in peace, Brenda. I know you’ll be watching over your family, guiding them and making sure they continue to do their best, just as you always did.
