ISSHAK- Houda (Nee Aouad)
Passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026 at the age of 78 years with her loving family by her side. Loving and devoted wife of Tony (Antoine) whom she shared 61 years of marriage together. Cherished and loved mother of John Isshak (Sofija), Genevieve Isshak-Rehse (Steven), Robert Isshak (Rosie), Terry Kobrossy (Rabih) and Yvonne Wehbe (Robert).
Dear grandmother of Adriana, Olivia, Tony, George, Christina, Eli, Aleksandar and Michael.
Dear daughter of the late Antonios and Genevieve Aouad of Lebanon. Dear sister of Theresa Kalife and late husband Phillip, the late Joseph Aouad and survived by wife Theresa. She will be sadly missed by many neices and nephews. Houda was a member of St. Charbel Parish - Windsor and a member of the United Society of Hasroun in Windsor. Houda was a devoted and loving wife and mother whose greatest joy in life was her family. With a heart full of kindness and generosity, she created a home where everyone felt welcomed, supported, and deeply loved. She took pride in caring for her family, whether through the meals she lovingly prepared or the quiet strength and guidance she gave each day. Her unwavering devotion, gentle spirit, and endless compassion will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will take place at the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E on Monday April 6, 2026 from 2 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral services on Tuesday April 7, 2026 at 9am leaving the funeral home then to St. Charbel Maronite Church for funeral mass at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Houda's memory can be made to the St. Charbel Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family.
