Obituary of Pauline Benoit

With saddened hearts the family of Pauline Benoit announce her passing on March 28, 2026 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Mark Benoit. Loving mother of Gillian Benoit-Gonzalez (Jose) and Ryan Benoit (Jennifer). Treasured grandmother of Cloee Benoit, Evan Gonzalez, Emma-Lee Gonzalez, and Selena Benoit, and great-grandmother of Noah Wroblewska. Dear sister of Doanld (Grace), Kenneth, Helen (Andy), Dennis (Ursula), the late Bryan, the late Norman (Giselle), the late Maureen (the late Beemer), the late David, and the late Evelyn (the late Tom). She is predeceased by her parents Hugh and Evelyn Cochrane, and her in-laws Morris and Eveline Benoit. Pauline will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was a dedicated employee of the University of Windsor for over 30 years. Pauline was an advocate of Wigs For Kids, donating over four times. She loved her time spent boating with her husband, looking forward to summer boating days every year. Above all else she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered by all those who have known and loved her. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. A memorial service to follow at 7:00pm. Donations in Pauline’s memory can be made to Drouillard Place.
