Entered into the loving arms of his savior with his family by his side. Reunited in heaven with his wife and sweetheart Lily Bender (nee. Manchester). Loving Father to Beth (Jeff) Little, Shelly (Matthew) Brookes, and Allison (Damon) Boyko. Cherished papa to Julia (Sean), Alexa (Ryan), Michael (Josh), and Great-Papa to Sylas. He is survived by his sister Barbara (late Gordon) Sarll, brothers John (late Elaine), and George. Predeceased by his brother Fred, sister Vera (Tom) Kell, and parents Charles and Alice Bender. He will deeply missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. A visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue of Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Parkwood Gospel Church from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.
