Obituary of Gaetano Farina

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of a sincerely wonderful man, Gaetano Farina, who peacefully passed away at the age of 94. Gaetano is now reunited with his beloved parents, Pombeo and Gacinta Farina. Gaetano was a devoted and loving husband to Carolina Farina, with whom he shared over 68 cherished years. He was a caring father to Onorio (Anne) Farina, Valerio Farina, Maria Farina, and Gina (Jurgen) Kuehfuss. Adored "Nini" (grandfather) to Jeramiah Farina, Zachariah Farina, Dominique LeBlanc, Noah Kuehfuss, Ryan Kuehfuss, Jacob Farina, and Dylan Farina.

Gaetano was a proud longtime member of the Ciociaro Club. You could always find him volunteering or playing scopa or briscola at the club. He found great pleasure in the old Italian traditions of tending to his garden, making wine, and sharing dinners and stories with his family. Gaetano will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Thursday March 26th, 2026 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday March 27th, 2026 at 9:30am, followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
