Obituary of Raffaele "Ralph" Caruso
Raffaele “Ralph” Caruso passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, and strengthened by his faith in God.
Born to the late Guiseppantonio and Maria Carmela Caruso, Ralph lived a life rooted in devotion to his Catholic faith, his family, and the values of hard work, humility, and love. He was a beloved brother to Giovanni Caruso and his late wife Carmelina, Giacinto and Maria Caruso, the late Pasquale Caruso, and the late Elisa Caruso and her late husband Giovanni, all of Windsor, as well as Maria and the late Pasquale Marcogliese, and Lidia and Giovanni Felicita, all of Italy.
Ralph was a proud and loving father to Mary (Tony) Tullio and Mark (Stephanie) Caruso, and a cherished Nonno to Julia (Kojo) and Jerry (Alyssa), who brought him immense pride and joy. He was a devoted husband of 62 years to his beloved wife, Giuseppina (Josey), with whom he shared a lifelong bond blessed by faith and love.
Ralph dedicated nearly 38 years of hard work and commitment to Chrysler, where he took great pride in providing for his family. He was also a longtime member of the Giovani Caboto Club, where he found friendship, community, and a deep connection to his Italian heritage.
A man of simple pleasures and deep faith, Ralph found peace in tending to his garden, often reflecting on God’s creation, and especially cherished time spent sitting beneath his grapevines, enjoying a glass of wine and listening to Italian music. His life was a quiet testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion.
Ralph will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, and by all who were blessed to know him.
As we mourn his passing, we take comfort in our faith, trusting that he has been welcomed into eternal rest in the presence of the Lord. May he be reunited with those who have gone before him, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
