Obituary of Kenneth Morneau

It is with deep love that we announce the passing of Kenneth Arthur Morneau at the age of 89. Ken passed away peacefully at home with family at his side, entering into eternal life.

Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Patricia Morneau (nee Ryall) (2021), and former spouse of Karen Morneau. Loving father to Kenton Morneau (Fiona Jenkins) and the late Kim Morneau (Jacquie Touma). Cherished stepfather to Rachael Curtis (John Vanthournout), Jim Bruce, and Belinda Bruce (Jon Wood).

Proud grandfather to Lindy (Mark Goralewski), Mitchell (Bela Stille-Curtis), Courtney and Tara Bruce, and Natasha Koleas (Davis), and great-grandfather to Hudson, Hallie, Theo, and Leo.

Dear brother to Gary and the late Rose Morneau (2022), Paul and Liz Morneau, the late Ron Morneau (2014) and Syd Taylor, and Paul and Sandi Ouellette. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers- and sisters-in-law Jo Ann and Reynold Caskey, Pat and Elaine Ryall, and was predeceased by Sue Ann and Dave Field. Dear Uncle Ken to many nieces and nephews.

Ken began his working life as a grocer then manager of the grocery store and later spent many years in management and quality with National Auto Radiator in Windsor.

Ken will be remembered for his kind heart and easygoing spirit. He cherished time with family, especially the lively Morneau Breakfasts, and enjoyed cooking, bowling, gardening (especially his tomatoes), travelling, reading the newspaper, and trying his luck with lottery cards. He was devoted to his church, loved baseball and the Montreal Canadiens, and had a lifelong passion for cars, especially Cadillacs. He took great joy in the companionship of his beloved poodle, Fritz, and his cat, Patience.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00 – 5:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of the service in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave.).
