Obituary of Mary Clark (nee Ivanski)

Passed away peacefully in her 100th year. Reunited with her husband, Howard (1991). Loving mother to Jim (Donna), Elaine, John, Marty (Debbie). Predeceased by her daughter Jeanette (2016). Cherished grandmother to Denise (Tim), Shawn (Donna), David, Brianne, Robert (Amanda), Tracey (Chris), Tom, Sarah (Ryan), and Nicole. Adored great grandmother to London (Denny), Skya, Sarah (Matt), Allison (Jaime), Ella, Kailey (Frank), Levi (Meagan), Scotty, Bobby, and Dylan. Loving great-great grandmother to Henry, Elora, Theo, Terra, Lincoln, Oliver, Scarlett, and Kyliee. Predeceased by her parents, Peter and Anna Ivanski and siblings, Jessie, Steve, and Pearl. May they all rejoice as they are reunited in heaven.

Mary was born in Ukraine and her family immigrated to Saskatchewan when she was three. They lived and farmed on a homestead in Yellow Creek. She later joined her sister Pearl, in Windsor. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to bake, cook, garden, sew, and craft. She made beautiful silk flower arrangements and was always on the hunt for baskets. Mary and Howie had many friends that they would play cards with or go dancing with at the legion. They loved spending time outside in the yard. She had a great love for country and western music, especially Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, and Johnny Cash. Howie would drive her anywhere and patiently sit on the mall benches while she window shopped. Many wonderful holiday celebrations were held in their home. Her kindness and love to all will be dearly missed and remembered forever in our hearts. She was very much loved.

A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
