JANISSE, Patrick Ernest

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 27, 2026 at Hospice of Windsor, at the age of 84. Reunited with his beloved wife Karol (nee Harshaw) (2025). Loving father to Shantelle Denis and husband Dave, Kyle Janisse and wife Melissa; all of Windsor.

Cherished "Papa" to Mikey, Christian and Mia. Adored chosen family friend to Della Gabriele. Predeceased by parents, Marc and Lucy Janisse, and brother Thomas Janisse. Adored brother to Angela Bernard, Suzanne Maziak, Frances Mastromattei, Marianne Simpson, Teresa "Teri" McInnes, and Christina "Tina" Martinez. Dear brother in-law to Pam Balkwill and Shelley Forester. Patrick is survived by many nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews and a great-great niece.

He was a retired employee of Stellantis with over 30 years of dedicated service and a member of Unifor Local 444. Patrick was an avid car enthusiast who loved his 1970 Challenger. He was anything about war history and was brilliant at trivia. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the staff at Hospice of Windsor and Windsor Regional Cancer Centre for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Patrick.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 3:00 - 5:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at St. Michael's Church (2153 Parkwood Ave, Windsor) for visitation from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Patrick, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
