Obituary of Dorothy Cecile Denomme
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Cecile Denomme who left this world on February 26, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born on January 7, 1939, in River Canard, Dorothy was the beloved daughter of Leo Beaudoin and Olive (Grondin). Dorothy dedicated her life to education, working as a school teacher for nearly her entire career until her well-deserved retirement. Outside of her professional life, Dorothy found joy and solace in gardening and dedicating herself to the church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Megan Denomme, who passed away on February 13, 2024.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Marc Denomme (Debra) and Danny, as well as her daughter, Michelle Snyder. Her cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, and Wyatt. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Father Larry Brunet for his unwavering support during this difficult time. His kindness and guidance have been a source of comfort and strength.
A visitation will take place Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 3 pm - 5 pm and 7 pm - 9 pm at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON). Prayer Service will occur at 4:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church (1991 Norman Rd, Windsor, ON) on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:30 am with a brief visitation from 10 am - 10:30 am. In honor of Dorothy’s life, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization close to her heart.
