Obituary of Dave Chiarotti
With deep love and remembrance, we share the passing of Dave Chiarotti, who left this world peacefully on February 17, 2026, at the age of 61.
Dave was a man who deeply loved and wanted to be loved. He found his greatest peace on the water, fishing for hours, calmed by the rhythm and stillness of nature. He also found grounding and purpose on the land, hunting and providing for his family with quiet devotion.
Known for his warmth, generosity, and gentle humor, Dave had a way of connecting with people wherever he went. He was deeply loyal to his friends and valued the many friendships he built over a lifetime-always ready for a conversation, a laugh, or quiet companionship. He famously donned his Santa suit each year, riding his Harley to hand out toys to children-bringing joy, laughter, and light to his community. He never hesitated to stop for a beer, a conversation, and a heartfelt exchange about life.
Dave is lovingly remembered by his mother, Loretta; his sisters, Lisa and Floria; his wife, Tabatha Dugal; his children, Cassidy (fiancée Alex) and Monika (fiancé Cameron); and his grandchildren, Skylar and Beau. He is also remembered with love by Tabatha’s daughter, Amanda, and by Tabatha’s family-her brothers Rick and Randy, her sister Christine, and Christine’s husband Steve-as well as by the many friends who became family to him over the years.
Dave is now reunited with those who went before him-his father, Italo, his beloved daughter, Sara, his stepson, Adam, and his former wife, Myrna.
May Dave be held in the quiet peace of open waters, wide skies, and eternal rest.
