Obituary of Alvin Charles Okeefe

Charles O’Keefe passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 69. He is the beloved son of the late Alvin O’Keefe (1985) and the late Rose-Alma O’Keefe (née Barrette) (2013). Cherished brother of the late Emile (1975) and of Elaine (Stefan) Kolasa. He is also survived by his brother, Duane. Charles was a dear uncle to Stanley (Tina) Kolasa and a proud great-uncle to Nicholas Kolasa. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Charles loved his family deeply. He enjoyed cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs, gardening, puzzles, Nintendo, bowling, and cards. He also found great joy in visiting Checker Flag Raceway in his younger years. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Bill, Nurse Aliye, Nurse Steve, PSWs Nykeen, Jim, Joel, and the Hospice staff for the wonderful care and compassion provided. As per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held.
