Obituary of Lorraine Zawadski
On January 29, 1947 Lorraine Zawadski was born to her now deceased parents Gino Maniacco and Phyllis Maniacco (nee Halip), and is reunited with her brother Ron Maniacco (2025). She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wallace Zawadski, her sister Eleanor Nadalini (late Nick), and many nephews Richard (Penny) Nadalini, Robert (Tina) Nadalini, and Gino (Tobi) Maniacco, niece Jenny Maniacco of Vancouver, and great niece and nephew Domenic and Maya Maniacco. Lorraine was also sister-in-law to Anita (Richard) Harris, Patrick (Linda) Kennedy, and aunt to their son Drew, late Denus Zawadski, and Debra Zawadski of Mexico.
Lorraine was a beautiful, caring, and cheerful lady. She sought and brought joy to whatever the occasion, such as Pepper card parties with her many cherished friends and relatives. Having been employed at the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor, she proved to be an extraordinarily intelligent employee with great secretarial skills. Her love for animals defined her, having loved 5 Siamese cats over 50 years. It would be her wish that donations were made to the Windsor Essex Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
