Obituary of Dorinel Patriche

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorinel Patriche, who peacefully left us at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 73. Beloved husband and lifelong partner of Martha Patriche (née Garba). Cherished father of Bogdan (Eliza) Patriche of Romania, Miruna (Ruben) Ortiz of Tecumseh, and Ioana Patriche of Quebec. Proud Buni of Romeo, Rafael, and Gabriel. Dear brother of Cornel (Cristina) Patriche of Germany, and uncle to their daughter Irina Kiesel. Dorinel will be remembered for his deep love of family and a life defined by curiosity, dedication, and compassion. A gifted engineer and inventor, he also held a black belt in martial arts, nurtured a passion for gardening, and found fulfillment in helping others through Reiki healing. As per Dorinel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at El Patron Mexican Grill, 12058 Tecumseh Rd. E., in Tecumseh.
