Obituary of Imelda Concepta Manning

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Imelda surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home on February 11, 2026 at 94 years of age.

Loving wife and best friend of Jimmy with whom she shared 60 years of a wonderful marriage. Reunited with her parents Frederick and Irene Brown.

Cherished mother of James Jr. (Lori) Manning, Wally (Kim) Manning, Delores (Dave) Paquin, Darlene (Richard) Drouillard, and late Darla (Sandy) MacMaster. Adored nanny of James Manning, Jennifer Bondy, Charlotte Janik, Brianne Drouillard, David Paquin, Lauren Drouchard, Jamie Madariaga, Jason Bourgoin and Kendall MacMaster. Great nanny of Ciara Bondy, Keera Bondy, Daphne Janik, Ezekiel Paquin, Gage Manning, Sunny Drouchard and Goldy Drouchard.

Dear sister of Delores Brown, and predeceased by Anne Hobbs, Margaret Dahle, Phil McCormik, Kay Brown, Wallace Brown, Frederick (Shirley) Brown, and infant Fred Brown.

Predeceased by brother and sister-in-laws, Michael Manning, Helen Manning, Margarite Manning, Patrick (Betty) Manning, Francis (Lola) Manning, Vince (Mary) Manning, Liz (Bill) Reardon, Theresa Manning, and Ron (surviving Helen) Manning.

She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Imelda devoted her life to raising her children and was a woman of strong Christian faith. A dedicated homemaker, she took great pride in caring for her family. She also enjoyed spending time playing bingo and sharing in the simple joys of life.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place from 9:00 until 10am with a funeral mass to follow on Thursday Feb.19 at 10am at our Lady of the Atonement Parish, 2940 Forest Glade Dr. in Windsor, with a burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
