Obituary of Renald Gagnon
In loving memory of Renald Gagnon March 6, 1951 - February 9, 2026
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Renald Gagnon, on February 9, 2026 at the age of 74. Born in Ville Marie Quebec. Reunited with his parents Noel and Jeanne Gagnon, in heaven. Dedicated husband to Juliette Gagnon (nee. Lesperance). Cherished father to his four children Katherine Di Cesare, Noel Gagnon, Kevin Gagnon, and Rachelle Gagnon. Loving grandfather to his five grandchildren Nunzio Di Cesare, Chantalle Gagnon, Katrina Williams, Anthony Gagnon, and Christian Gagnon. Renald will be missed by his brothers Laurent Gagnon, Marcel Gagnon, Ghislain Gagnon, Rejean Gagnon, Real Gagnon, and Real Lapierre. Beloved brother to his sisters Denise Gagnon and Sylvie Lapierre-Fraser.
Renald worked for Victoria Steel, as a driver for many years, until retirement. He is a proud 3rd and 4th Degree Member with the Knights of Columbus, Father Nicholas Pointe Counsil 4375, member of Dean Wagner Assembly 0869 4th degree for many years. His joys were his best friend Rusty (Dog) and playing Bingo.
Renald enjoyed glamping every weekend with his wife Juliette. He always looked forward to Thursday's Mans Night, playing darts and enjoying time with his sons Noel and Kevin, friends and family. On occasions Renald attended classic car shows with his son Noel and his brother Marcel Gagnon. His daughters Katherine and Rachelle will miss the shopping trips that he accompanied them on. Renald was always willing and ready to help his son-in-law Cesare Di Cesare when he called for help with Trucking Duties.
Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel)1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234). A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00pm, with Knights of Columbus Prayers at 3pm, and 7:00 - 9:00pm with Parish Prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:30am until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave.).
