Obituary of Tracey Moore (nee Drouillard)
Passed away suddenly at the age of 36 years on February 6, 2026. Beloved Wife and best friend of Adam. Devoted Mother of Avery and Finley. Precious Daughter of Russ and Linda Drouillard, and daughter-in-law of Mike and Jennifer Moore. Dear Sister of Rob Drouillard (Kelly), and sister-in-law of Greg Moore, and Eric Moore (Lexi Sobocan). Loving Aunt of Remi, Rory, Savannah, and Hallie. Cherished granddaughter of Grandma Rose and Grandpa Paul (2021) Gervais, Mim Viola (2017) and Pip Leo (2008) Drouillard, Papa Mike Sr and Meme Shirley Moore, and Nanny Barb and Poppy Don (2025) Snyder. Tracey will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and numerous friends, especially her treasured dog Benny.
Tracey was profoundly proud of the life she built as a caregiver and teacher, devoting herself to children with special needs with a grace and patience that came so naturally to her. She possessed a rare and beautiful gift: the ability to truly listen. Whether to a child, a friend, or someone who simply needed a moment of understanding, Tracey offered her presence without judgment and without hurry. She had a way of noticing the people others might overlook, and she made it her quiet mission to ensure no one ever felt left out. Her compassion touched countless lives, and her gentle spirit made the world softer for those lucky enough to know her.
Her home was her sanctuary, a place where she felt closest to peace. She loved the simple beauty of sitting outdoors, feeling the warmth of the sun, hearing laughter drift through the air, and sharing unhurried conversations with family and friends. Those moments of stillness and connection filled her heart in ways words could never fully capture.
But above all else, Tracey’s greatest joy in life was her family. She poured her whole heart into being a devoted mother to her two girls, loving them fiercely, proudly, and without limits. Every milestone, every challenge, and every ordinary day was made brighter by her presence. As a wife, she created a home filled with care, laughter, and unwavering love. Her family was her centre, her purpose, and her proudest accomplishment.
Tracey’s kindness, strength, and extraordinary ability to make others feel valued will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of love - one that will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, her family, and all the lives she touched with her gentle, generous spirit.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the entire staff and medical team at London Health Sciences - University Hospital. Throughout Tracey’s time in their care, they poured their heart and soul into her recovery. Their dedication, their patience, and the genuine compassion they showed brought the family tremendous comfort during an unimaginably difficult time. It was clear that the team wasn’t simply performing a job - they were personally invested in Tracey’s well-being. They watched over her with the same tenderness, dignity, and kindness that Tracey herself so naturally offered to others. For that, the family is profoundly grateful. The family would also like to express a special and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out with condolences, prayers, and support. Every message, visit, call, and gesture of kindness has been felt deeply. In moments of great loss, the love and support of friends, family, and community become a source of strength, and your compassion has offered comfort when it was needed most. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
