Obituary of Carrie Anderson

Passed away suddenly at the age of 55, on February 3, 2026, in Ottawa. Cherished mother of Dylan. Dear daughter of Janice and Bill Anderson. Loving sister of Charlotte Gauthier (Sylvain). Beloved Aunt of Alyssa, Chelsea and Kirsten. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, extended family and her furry companion, Lucky.

She found her greatest joy in the outdoors, whether she was walking along a quiet trail, hiking through the woods, or spending time on the water. Boating, swimming, or simply being near a shoreline brought her a sense of peace and happiness. Anything connected to the water felt like home to her.

Carrie had a generous heart unlike any other. She was the type of person who would give the shirt off her own back without hesitation. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering willingness to help others touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

At Carrie’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 519-253-7235.
