Obituary of Michael Joseph Lucier

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Michael Joseph Lucier on February 1, 2026. Loving husband and best friend for 5 years to Tina Lucier (nee. Allison). Beloved Dad to Mackenzie Lucier and Maxim Lucier. Cherished Pepe to Esmae Lucier and Lorenzo Lucier. Loving son to Beverly (James) Turner and Larry Lucier (2022). Best friend and son-in-law to Kelvin Allison. Survived by brothers and sisters Terra (Dannie) McKinnon, Bradley Lucier and Lindsey Allison. Amazing uncle to Madelynne and Penelope. He will be deeply missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Mike enjoyed listening to music, he was known for his bad dancing, his dad jokes, and love for bow ties. Mike was an excellent photographer, where he could capture any moment. He loved to travel, especially with Tina. Wherever she went he was right there with her. Mike enjoyed his chicken wing nights with his friends. He also enjoyed going to car shows with Max and his cousins. He enjoyed going on “Adventure Walks” where he would try and find snakes and other unique animals. He loved fishing, especially when he went fishing with the people he cared about most. Mike was honored to serve his community through his work with the Children's Safety Village. Mike loved working with all his co-workers at Transit Windsor. He was basically a beacon of love, and a ray of sunshine to whoever had the opportunity to be around him. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:30 am from the funeral home then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Cremation will take place at a later date. In memory of Mike, donations may be made to Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary.
