Obituary of James Joseph Boismier

Passed away at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 69 years to Julianna. Proud father to Renee and the late Steven (2024). Grandfather to Neco, Gabriella and Maria. James is survived by his brother Arthur "Jack" and sister Cecilia, and he is reunited in Heaven with his parents Norman and Clara Boismier, and his siblings Norma, Rhea, Harold "Jake", Bertha, Russell and Barbara Jean. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

James retired from Canadian Rock Salt after 36 years of service. An avid golfer, he enjoyed his time on the course. His accomplishments included over 16 championships across a number of clubs in Canada and 1 in Florida. Many lasting memories were made during the game.

As per James' wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7236) on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am., then to Sacred Heart Parish, 1425 Divine St., LaSalle for the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memories and condolences can be shared online at www.windsorchapel.com
