Felice Antonio Mognon

Felice Antonio Mognon passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Monastiero in San Martino di Lupari, Padova, Italy, he was the son of the late Ettore and Adelia Mognon.

Felice was the beloved husband of Imelda (nee Petrin) of 62 years and dear father of sons Ettore (Ursula) and Dino (Nancy). A proud and loving Nonno, he adored his grandchildren Daniel, Alexa, Anna-Christina, Alexander, and Thomas. Felice was predeceased by his sisters, Maria Luisa Sidotti (Eugenio, deceased) and Orielle and is survived by his brother, Luigi (Lucia). He will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends in Canada and Italy.

In 1954, Felice immigrated to Canada, where he built a beautiful life, while his love for Italy remained ever-present. He was deeply devoted to his family, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He also had a passion for woodworking and baking and loved to share stories of his life experiences.

Felice will be remembered as a man of strong values, compassion, and generosity. He was a longtime employee of Dominion Forge of Canada and a proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club for more than 50 years. His legacy of love, resilience, and Italian tradition will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the doctors, staff, and volunteers of the Hospice of Windsor for their exceptional care and compassion during Felice’s final days.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 4:30 pm. Funeral Service on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 10:30 a.m from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in Felice's memory to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County would be greatly appreciated.
