Obituary of Marie Jeanne Charron (nee Lalonde)

Marie Jeanne Charron (nee Lalonde) passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by family on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Palliative Care Unit at the age of 71. Dear wife of Denis Charron. Loving mother of Danielle Charron (Bryan Poetz) and Brian Charron (Sheina Robson-Charron). Dear mémé to Mariyka. She will be missed by her brother, Bob Lalonde (Pam); siblings-in-law, Lorraine, Collette (Rick), Marc (Trish), and by nieces and nephews: Nicole, Eric, Deirdre and Riley.

Marie Jeanne will be remembered for her love of her family, boisterous laugh, enthusiasm for world travel, crafts and her 35+ years of working as a registered nurse at both Banwell Gardens LTCH and the former IODE Hospital.
