Obituary of Dorothy May Desjardins (nee Adair)
Beloved wife of Albert (Bert) Desjardins for 47 years. Loving and proud mother of Shelley (Brian Beaudoin) of Amherstburg and Tracy (Michael Miller) of London. She was the loving grandmother of Bryce and Owen Beaudoin, who called her “the best cook in the world”, and “Memaw” to Lucy Miller, who loved to play Uno and games with her and Warren Miller, who always wanted “Memaw” to read to him. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Norah Adair, brothers Robert and Ken Adair and her sister Pat Folas. Special friend and sister-in-law of Linda Adair (Ken), and proud aunt of her many nieces and nephews.
On most days of the week, she could count on at least one phone call from her daughters on their drive home from work, some days many calls. Dorothy was a court reporter under Beryl MacMillan for 43 years and previously worked as a Secretary at the University of Windsor Psych Department.
