Obituary of Pavel Suserski

On January 8, 2026, Pavel Suserski passed away into the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Pavel was born on July 12, 1933, in Kulpin, Serbia (former Yugoslavia), where he lived until moving to Canada in July of 1992. He was married to his beloved wife, Julijana, for 73 years until her passing in 2024. Together, they dedicated their life to serving the Lord, their family, and all those around them, often blessing others with their exceptional gift of hospitality.

From a young age, Pavel worked hard as a farmer, tending the fields and raising livestock. He found joy in cooking, baking, and gardening. He also loved moments spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Seeing all of his family serve the Lord was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Pavel’s deep devotion to God was evident and he carried the joy of the Lord wherever he went. His love as a husband, father (“Ocko”), grandfather and great-grandfather (“Dedik”) will be cherished forever.

He leaves behind his daughter, Anna Bartos (Samuel), and his son, Paul Suserski (Lydia); five grandchildren: Vlasta Canji (Michael), Samuel Bartos (Lynette), John Bartos (Erika), Branko Suserski (Tatjana), and Vlasto Suserski (Rachel); and eleven great-grandchildren: Rachel (Max), Grace, Samuel, Evalyn, Lucy, Maxumus, Simon, Elena, Malakai and Sarah.

Pavel is predeceased by his wife, Julijana, his parents, Michal and Ana Suserski, and by his four siblings, Ana Mendjan (Jan), Michal Suserski (Zuzana), Jan Suserski (Katarina), and Maria Valentik (Stefan).

The family extends special thanks to The Village of Aspen Lake where Pavel resided and received loving care for over six years.

Visitation will held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10am-12pm , and the time of the Funeral Service will be at 12pm with an Internment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Parkwood Gospel Church.
