Obituary of Amarjeet Kaur Sidana
We hereby announce the passing onto glory of our beloved Amarjeet Kaur Sidana, who peacefully entered eternal rest on January 3, 2026, at the age of 85.
She was everyone’s friend, regardless of age, and she found her greatest joy in giving rather than receiving. Generosity came naturally to her, and it brought her genuine happiness. Her deep empathy allowed her to form strong emotional bonds with everyone around her. She was incredibly strong and resilient, enduring every hardship and pain with grace, patience, and quiet self-control, never complaining, regardless of the circumstances.
She always had a positive mindset and lived life with intention, taking good care of her body and soul while filling her days with creativity. She loved to cook, knit, sew and paint.
The most profound and defining moment of Amarjeet Sidana’s earthly journey occurred on June 5, 2025, when she encountered her Savior, Jesus Christ. That blessed day marked the beginning of a sacred, Spirit-filled transformation. Over the course of a remarkable week, the work of the Holy Spirit became evident as her countenance radiated peace, joy, and divine assurance. From that moment forward, her life—and her eternity—were forever changed.
Six days before her passing, when doctors informed her that nothing more could be done to repair an unforeseen and catastrophic failure of her gastrointestinal system, Amarjeet responded without fear or hesitation. With calm conviction, she declared that she was ready to meet her Savior and was fully content with the life she had lived on earth.
In her final days, she remained peaceful, present, and conversational—anchored in faith and surrounded by love. On January 3, 2026, at 5:32 p.m., her spirit gently and without struggle slipped into eternity.
Amarjeet leaves behind a powerful testimony of faith. She taught us to trust God fully, to walk humbly, and to rest in the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. Her life stands as a legacy of wisdom, devotion, and an enduring relationship with God—a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Though we grieve her earthly absence, we rejoice in the assurance that she is now home, embraced by her Savior, and dwelling in everlasting peace.
Amarjeet was the cherished daughter of the late Gian Singh and Mohinder Kaur Luthra. She was a loving sister to Kawaljeet, and was predeceased by her dear brothers Gurcharan Singh and Baldev Singh Luthra
She was the devoted and beloved wife of the late Surjit Singh Sidana, and a loving mother to Gurmeet (Anika) Sidana, Navneet (Mandeep) Sehra, and the late Harmeet Sidana.
A proud Dadi and Nani, Amarjeet found great joy in her grandchildren Sagari (Chris), Anita (Steven), Vanshika, and Shawn, and was a delighted Great Dadi to Cayde and Cole. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends whose lives she touched with kindness, wisdom, and grace.
