A devout Catholic, Celina was deeply involved in her faith and the Church. Along with her husband, she served for 3 years as a Missionary in northern Alberta, as well as in retreat houses for 9 years. She was a skilled cook, creating many well-loved meals, and also enjoyed the sight of the blossoms which came from the family garden.
