Obituary of Emilienne Helene Paquette (nee Mallet)
Passed away suddenly at the age of 90, on December 24, 2025. Reunited with her beloved husband Venance (2018). Cherished mother of late Marie-France (2009), Pierre (Louise), Francois, Sylvie (Mario) and Suzanne. Proud grandmaman of Jeremie, Justin (Sharon), Aaron (Amanda), Christine (Jordan), Kari-Lynn, Alan (Brittney), Daniel, Nicholas (Alicia), Julien (Joanne), and Vincent (Ali). Cherished great-grandmaman of Chase, Colin, Ryan, Nash, Logan, Bo, Riley, Asher, Adeline, Téo and Baby Paquette. Dear sister of Jean Eudes (2016) (Carmen), Fernand (2025) (Patricia, 2016), Rose-Marie (Andy, 2017), Simone (2025) (Robert), Paul-Emile (Madeleine, 2020), Francois (Juliette), Gilbert (Nora), Christian (Flora) and Carmelle (1979). Loving sister-in-law of Alonzo (Anita), late Leopold, Hédard (2025) (Lucienne), Yvon (2024), Annette, Idola, Claudia, Edmonde (Aubin), Yvonne, and late Raymonde. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Emilienne devoted her life to teaching and inspiring young minds in local French schools. A proud university student, she graduated with her Bachelor of Education-a dream she worked tirelessly to achieve. Her passion for education extended beyond the classroom as she served as president and advocate in the creation of École secondaire catholique l’Essor, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
Together with her beloved husband, she proudly owned and operated Paquette Windows, building a business rooted in hard work, integrity, and care for their community. Their partnership was more than a business-it was a shared dream that reflected their dedication to family and the people they served.
She faced life’s greatest challenges with unwavering courage, surviving cancer three times and showing extraordinary strength and resilience throughout her journey. Her determination and positive spirit inspired everyone around her, proving that hope and perseverance can shine even in the darkest moments.
Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME - BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of Chapel Service at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow.
