Obituary of Maria Bagnarol

Maria was born in San Vito al Tagliamento, Italy on March 6, 1931, and passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025. She is predeceased by her husband Sante (2024), with whom she shared 74 years of marriage. Beloved mother of Roy (Mary-Lou), loving Nonna to Rob and Tony (Andrea), and proud Bis-Nonna to Mason and Mattea.

Maria immigrated to Canada in 1951, the year after Sante. She was a woman of many talents. She loved to sew, do needlepoint, bake, and she was an expert at canning and preserving the fruits and vegetables that she and Sante painstakingly tended in their garden. No matter the length of a visit, you never left hungry, and without a bag full of goodies from the cold storage or freezer.

A private family service will be held, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at AgeCareRoyal Oak in Kingsville for their compassionate care over the past year, especially Jessica, Rachelle, Tina, and Lisa during her final days. They are the angels who walk among us.
