Obituary of Luba Lipnicki
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Luba Lipnicki on December 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Reunited with her husband Leon Lipnicki (1995). Survived by spouse George Schultz. Loving mother to her son Victor Lipnicki and stepson Gary (Diane) Schultz. Predeceased by her sisters Olga (Bazel) Malec and Mary (Walter) Mykitczyn. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, former co-workers and friends. Luba arrived in Canada in 1947 from war-torn Europe with her parents and sisters, and made new lives here for themselves through hard work. Among her other endeavours, Luba was the Housekeeper for the Elmwood Motel from 1957 – 1968. She went on to work as a Power Sewer at the new GM Trim Plant from which she retired in 1996. Luba was a fantastic cook, she enjoyed gardening. She befriended numerous cats, and many other needy animals domestic or otherwise. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234). An interment has taken place as per Luba’s wishes. In memory of Luba, donations may be made to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society. Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family at www.windsorchapel
