Obituary of Alouisi Joseph Allard Ward

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alouisi Ward on December 23, 2025 at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family. Alouisi is reunited with his loving wife of 51 years, Solange (nee. Paquette). Beloved father to Chantal Barnhart, Alain (Evelin) Gauthier, Marc (Andrea) Gauthier, and Sylvie (Brandon) Howick. Cherished grandfather to Angel, Jessie, Eduardo, Shawn, Mia ,Neillan, and Emma. Proud great-grandfather to Cameron, Harmony, Jenny, Emily, Hope, and Faith. Reunited with parents, Adelard and Stella Ward. Survived by brother and sisters Kathleen (Ed) Dulsky, Rosely (Richard) Soullier, Clairmont (Marcella) Ward, late Delphis (Angeline) Ward, and Richard (Georgette) Ward. He will forever be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. Alouisi worked at Zalev Brothers CO for many years before he retired. He loved his food, especially anything related to seafood, if it was from the ocean, it was going to be eaten. Alouisi loved to listen to country music whenever he was possible. He was an avid sports fan, he loved hockey especially watching the Montreal Canadiens and The Windsor Spitfires, and in the summer when baseball season was on the TV so were his Blue Jays. Alouisi was a proud and dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Above all else he loved his family more than anything and would always make sure to put them first. A special thank you to the Nurses and Staff at Banwell Gardens for their exceptional care for Alouisi throughout the years. As per Alouisi’s wishes, cremation has taken place, a memorial visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 12:00pm followed by interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
