Obituary of Helen Peters

July 24, 1932 - December 21, 2025 

Born in Hillside, Saskatchewan. 

Beloved spouse of Claude for 63 wonderful years. Loving mother to Wendy (Brian Sweeney) and Ron Peters (Christine Spidy). Cherished grandmother of Chad (Girlyee) Christie (Mel) and Luke. Great grandmother to Beau, Mia and Xavi. Predeceased by her loving parents George and Susanna Flohr, her brother Frank Flohr and sisters Eva Tremain, Susan Baker, Anna Wiles, Margaret Massey and Hilda Apfelbeck. Helen was a proud retiree of RBC with over 36 years of service.  She loved her garden, listening to classic rock music but most of all she cherished her time with her loving family. Her family would like to thank the dedicated and caring staff of Riverside Place. Cremation has taken place.  Memorial Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave. on  Tuesday, December 30, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. A Memorial Service in the chapel will take place at 11:00 am. Private family interment to follow. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice is appreciated.
