Obituary of Katica Ilijanic

ILIJANIC, Katica "Katherine" (nee Sutlic) Born January 9, 1936 in Novo Selo, Croatia. Passed away suddenly surrounded by her loving family, on December 21, 2025 at WRH, Met. Campus, at the age of 89. Reunited with her beloved husband Ivan Ilijanic (1991). Loving and devoted mother to Joseph (Josip), and Mary (Marica) Ilijanic. Dear sister to the late Mate Sutlic of Toronto and the late Mara, Bara and Ana; all of Croatia. Adored aunt to Ljubica and husband Josip Loncaric of Windsor, John Sutlic, Steve and Tami Sutlic and family of Mississauga, and late Marija and surviving husband Steve Mikac and family of Australia. Katica will be sadly missed by many friends. She was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to Dr. Henry Fortuna for his compassionate and exceptional care throughout the years. Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home in procession to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
